== Stand and general == * A leaflet rack would be nice * Some leaflets covering different areas, e.g. Kolab and Kontact, Kiosk, this would explain what they were about and provide some links to web sites * Printed business cards, there are a few companies that will print e.g. 100 for �23 @ www.cardsmadeeasy.co.uk (full colour option) * Preferably everybody wearing the same style t-shirt ("KDE Team" with a big K or such like) * Filling some machines with test data/files so people can see how easy it is to navigate the basic aspects of KDE * Maybe sharing a stand with the GNOMEs * An enormous KDE logo, done nicely on a large plotter * IRC turned off, or perhaps a unified IRC connection to let other punters know what's going on. * KPresenter running on one of the machines showing a continuous demonstration * chowells has a colour laser printer so that can be used to print flyers/business cards == Things to demo == * OOo with KDE widgets and crystal icons * A Kolab server and clients (including MS Outlook) * The remote desktop stuff (maybe also with a Windows XP box thrown in their to show compatability) * Kiosk, and Waldo's magic admin tool which will hopefully be finished by the time of the next expo * KOffice == Leaflet ideas == * Kolab and Kontact * KDE Edu * Kiosk and sysadmin * How to upgrade to the latest KDE * Developer tools and licensing * Tips and tricks * Future of KDE |
